Like a parody of a real artist. In the wake of Twitter getting Musk'd and Deviantart being taken over by the robots, felt it may be worth sharing some art elsewhere! And Newgrounds seems like a pretty good elsewhere.

Hey-yo! I guess this is like... the establishing journal posts? Or blog post? Or whatever you wanna call it?

Also my 'try to get to grips with the site' post.

And also my 'try to make my account page look less empty/barren' post.

The post serves a lot of purposes is what I'm saying.

So yeah, uh, essentially coming over here for a few reasons! One is to have an alternate place where I can host a Gallery because like... more places to engage with people is more good, right? But also it's due to the situations with Twitter and Deviantart.

Twitter... ain't so good as an art site. I mean, it's not designed to be really, it's a social media site, without any real 'gallery' function so to speak. It's main advantage is just the number of people/community there. However with ol' Musk's current treatment of the site, it feels like even that advantage may dwindle over time.

Deviantart meanwhile... well, I'll be honest for the longest time I've not been a fan of the interface there. I don't like using the site... but also it's the go-to art site. Unfortunately however, recent AI shenanigans have caused kind of a breach of trust. And like... well if I don't like the interface of the site, NOR do I trust the site, why even use it?

I know a lot of people have started to, or have previously, shifted over to this site for art. As such well... felt maybe the community here may be worth engaging with! It lacks the issues I've mentioned with Twitter and DeviantArt recently, and really does seem to be growing, so yeah. I'm on board!

May take a while getting use to, and probably gonna be just starting out posting older pieces I'm particularly happy with. But soon enough hoping for it to be one of my regular romping grounds!

Just, uh, apologies for starting with some of the older pieces first!
